Your support allows the Public Justice Center to advocate alongside people who are often disregarded when they speak up to defend their basic needs.

For over thirty-five years, we have taken a stand with those who would be ignored, oppressed, dismissed, and discounted. When landlords ignore tenants who raise concerns about rats and mold in their homes, we speak up in court. When employers ignore workers who question why they haven’t been paid, we sue for their wages.

Year in and year out, people like you have fueled the long fight to challenge the causes of poverty and inequity, to change the systems that keep people down.

Here’s how to help:

Become a Catalyst for Change

Catalysts for Change give monthly or quarterly to power our pursuit of economic justice and racial equity. Set up an automatic monthly gift via credit card online or by contacting Dan Gugliuzza by email or at 410-625-9409 x281.

Become a Champion of Justice

Champions of Justice are leading individual donors who contribute $1,000 or more to demonstrate their commitment to systemic change. Join the Champions of Justice by making one or more gifts in a year that add up to at least $1,000 in a fiscal year (July 1-June 30). You can donate online or through any of the other ways to give.

Donor-advised fund (DAF) grant

You can make a gift to the Public Justice Center through your donor-advised fund by taking one of the following steps:

IRA distribution

If you are age 70 ½ or older, you can contribute up to $100,000 from your IRA directly to the Public Justice Center. An IRA charitable rollover gift supports our long-term fight for justice and benefits you. You may avoid taxes on qualified transfers, satisfy your required minimum distribution, and reduce your taxable income.
