Levi Bradford is an attorney with the Public Justice Center’s Education Stability Project, which works to end exclusionary disciplinary practices in Maryland schools through direct representation of students in disciplinary proceedings, community outreach, and legislative, regulatory, and policy advocacy on the state and school board levels. Prior to joining the Public Justice Center, Levi worked as a public defender in Florida. Levi co-authored an article examining the relatively obscure federal juvenile courts and raising concerns regarding the intersection of these courts with Indigenous and Latine children. In law school, Levi conducted legal research supporting the 2020 ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) in Virginia. Levi writes and plays music in the bands Camp Trash, Leevy Skeevy, and buggin.
